This is a project I have been working on in connection with my position in Studentmediene Trondheim. EMNR is a digital service aimed at helping students choose courses at NTNU. The GPA calculator is an extension of EMNR's functions and aims to create a simple process for NTNU students to calculate their GPA.
The desire for us to develop a GPA calculator stemmed from when one of our developers was applying for a master's program and tried to calculate his GPA.
What he discovered instead was that most GPA calculators for university students either lacked features, have poor user interfaces, or are generally cumbersome to use.
Therefore, the entire design process of the calculator began with a workshop we held with other developers and designers to discuss the features we wanted the calculator to have.
Based on the sketches we made, I have developed a user flow of this site:
