Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved all things arts & crafts. You’d always find me with a sketchbook in my hand, doodling away. The need to create something has been a constant in my life, so I guess it was to no one’s surprise I eventually found my way to design.
Design, to me, is the perfect fusion of creativity, critical thinking and empathy. It’s not just about creating visually pleasing compositions; it’s about crafting experiences that resonate with people on a deeper level. My passion for UX/UI design stems from the belief that good design should not only look great, but should also enhance the user’s journey.
Quoting my professor, design is ‘a creative and systematic problem-solving process that can visualize or shape—tools, society, products, businesses, and the environment.' For me, this translates into a commitment to creating human-centered designs that prioritize the user’s needs. Simply creating something isn’t enough anymore—I want to create something with a lasting impact.
